My name is Claude P. Moore. I am on a journey to do the impossible! I have a lot of experience achieving unachievable goals. I have severe Hemophilia A with an inhibitor. My blood is missing factor 8 which helps the blood in our bodies clot.

Without factor 8 l spent most of my childhood at Children's Hospital fighting to stay alive. Between bouts of spontaneous internal bleeding, taking painful injects daily, mending broken bones and a coma some people would say living to have a full and eventful life in my 30's would be against the greatest odds.
During my many long painful stays in the hospital I picked up a hobby of playing with rubberbands. This helped me zone out and cope with the hand I was dealt. In recent years, l've turned my rubberband hobby and coping mechanism into a goal of beating the World's Largest Rubberband Ball!!
Not only am I a survivor of a hereditary life long diblating disorder. With the help of new medicine and a strong will power to live and have more in life, I have learned to thrive and enjoy life to the fullest. I am an airplane mechanic, I have an amazing and beautiful wife and child and we love to take adventures together through this thing called life.

When the world came to a stop during the Covid-19 Pandemic I was able to complete my autobiography titled "My Life with Hemophilia." It entails all of the details of my journey fighting to survive my battle with this disorder. I believe it is a great read for not only people and their loved ones that have Hemophilia, but also for anyone struggling with obstacles on their own journey through life. It is a great example of how quitting is never an option, as long as there is air in our bodies there is no excuse for giving up. Dark days don't last always and when the storm ends and the clouds disperse, the sun shines and we have more appreciation for the beauty God has created.

A portion of sells from my book is donated to the Hemophilia Foundation. Another piece of sells goes toward my current goal of creating the World's Largest Rubberband Ball.
